Happy 4th of July!

Good morning friends...

I'm sitting here enjoy my first cup of coffee this morning

with my hubby.  Up before sunrise to a lovely cool 61 degrees.

Listening to the birds, a rooster off in the distance and 

yep, someone's none stop barking dog!
It's going to be another lovely day here and we'll be 

joining some friends for a get together this afternoon.

There's sure to be lots of great food and laughs with this group

along with some water balloon volleyball to keep us cool.

Idaho Potatoes anyone?

I've had this idea in my head for some time now.....

I know it's not your average floral arrangement, after all who

want's a bouquet of potatoes on the counter?  The idea

 came to me one day while I was browsing a few sites

that offered handmade vegetables and fruits.

I had some artificial potato vine, a large can and a

label that I had created a long time ago.

"Famous Idaho Potatoes - Blackfoot, Idaho"

I think it as a souvenir kind of thing.

Anyway I'll be taking it to my friends shop.  It may only become a

conversation piece or if it sells then so be it!

Hope everyone is safe and dry.

We've had our share of rain which is very much a blessing

since our snowfall didn't amount to anything last winter.

My prayers continue to be with those folks who lost loved ones

and the devastating conditions across the country.

Happy Hump Day!
One more day and the month comes to an end.

It's an absolutely gorgeous day here in southeast Idaho!

The weather is finally warming and I'm aching to get 

outdoors and start planting up some of my many flower

pots and planters and poking around and tweaking 

in my little flower bed with some of the yard "art" pieces

I've gathered or been given as gifts.

This is a photo of a few years ago.

I've also been working on a few special orders

for Patriotic decor and a wedding bokay for a local gal.

(Sorry can't share photo yet.)

as well as working on some new items for
Mother's Day.

This is a new listing in my Etsy shop.

Good morning!

Goodness me it's been a loooong time since I've made

a blog post.  Sure hope you all have been doing great

and enjoying some wonderful weather in your neck of the woods.

I've managed to keep myself busy and for the most part

out of trouble.......keeping my hands busy with creating

more of my "themed" recycled can arrangements 

as well as several other projects.

He's just about finished.  I need to add his wings

and adjust the flag.
